Profile:

During my career at British Airways I managed front line staff in the delivery of consistently high levels of service, building relationships and gaining loyalty of staff and customers.  I was a key element in their customer service training department and am skilled in coaching and developing people in effective behavioural skills.

Joining EPP as a Senior Trainer enabled me to develop my passion for empowering people living with long-term health conditions, who often feel excluded, to take control of their health and better manage their lives.  Within this role I was an active member of a National Support Team to train and support health care professionals and their patients to develop a collaborative way of working using motivational interviewing, agenda setting, goal setting and follow up to support behaviour change.

I am skilled in interviewing including observation, questioning, rapport building and facilitating group assessments.

I am now a freelance consultant specialising in lay led self-management training and working within the quality assurance framework, Ss2Q, for providers of Stanford University and self management programmes.

I approach any prospective project with the aim of making a difference
