Keith Hawley is an Oxford MA with a professional background in social welfare. He is experienced in local government, the NHS and the voluntary sector. He seeks to be creative at promoting good relationships between statutory, private and voluntary bodies and contributes facilitation, communication, evaluation and networking skills, operating at strategic, teaching or operational levels. He has developed systems for managing relationships through service agreements and contracts and contributed to the introduction of Compacts between Government bodies and the voluntary sector. In recent years he has been at the cutting edge of developments in self-management for people with long term conditions at a national level. He helped define programmes and develop quality assurance systems and successfully facilitated the provision of self-management courses locally through partnerships between health, social services and voluntary sector providers. He worked for EPP both before and after it became a community interest company assisting with business development issues.

Keith was a Probation Officer and later had responsibilities for supporting Community involvement with Oxfordshire Social Services Department before becoming free lance around 1992. Since then he has accepted assignments with a wide range of NHS, Local Authority and National Voluntary Organisations as well as smaller community organisations.
