After more than 30 years, the Stanford Patient Education Research Center is closing and moving off campus with a new name, the Self-Management Resource Center.
As Kate Lorig's research career is winding down, there is no longer a place at Stanford for the Stanford Patient Education Research Center.
A new company, the Self-Management Resource Center has been developed. The transition will take several months and they hope to have it completed by August 2017.
The new website (the backbone of the Self-Management Resource Center) is up. Visit them here.
